As the first day approached, my anxiety grew. The build up to my first class was eagerly
anticipated. My anticipation was slowly quelled as questions flooded my mind: How would I
perform in classes? Do I remember any information from Cape? Will I be able to manage
college life?

My Monday was greeted with a sunny morning. Filled with anxious thoughts about what are to come.
Upon taking my first few steps at UTech, I suddenly realized- I don’t know where anything is.
After subsequent enquiries, I was in my first class.

The day proceeded and new knowledge was garnered. I made new companions while
wandering about finding my classes. I got homeworks to prep for the next class. I learned vital
techniques relating to managing my college life. I was one step in a four year journey to
becoming a college student.
