UTech Students' Union Student Guide 2010/2011

We would like to use this medium to extend welcome to all new and returning students to the University of Technology, Jamaica. This Institution has been known for producing graduates that are well rounded as a result of participating in various extra-curricular activities while maintaining a balance with their academic life.

We the University of Technology, Jamaica Students’ Union Council will assist in your development by effectively representing you on all matters of interest. We have adequately prepared ourselves to address all aspects of the student populous, including: physical, spiritual, intellectual and academic development, all of which are crucial to your holistic development. The onus is therefore on you to participate, listen, make suggestions and reap the rewards that are available for the taking.

We are also here to assist you with any academic issue or mishap you might experience during your tenure at UTech. Do not be afraid to contact any council member for assistance on any matter; we are here “to serve and to represent”. I truly hope you will enjoy your tenure here and we will also use other mediums to communicate to you such as our newsletters and our website, where you can keep abreast to the latest happenings on campus.
